The Perseid meteor shower occurs every year from July 17 to August 24 as the Earth crosses the orbital path of comet Swift-Tuttle. This year, the peak of the meteor shower was in Greece.

This week, the Haiku challenge wants to pay tribute to this event with a poem by Michael Dylan Welch.
