Transit and Passages by Larbjo is the result of explorations into the sonics of airports, underground stations, railway bridges, stairways, and elevators; places whose purpose is to enable movement and transition. The title suggests a focus on the transformative dimension rather than the actual physical location. The voices that appear in these environments are not primarily tools of verbal communication, they should rather be regarded as residues, traces of human presence with uncertain durations and trajectories.
