Shugyō Takaha (1930–2024) was a Japanese haiku poet from Shinjō, in the Yamagata Prefecture. He began writing haiku in 1946 and later studied under Yamaguchi Seishi. In 1978, he founded the haiku journal Kari 狩 (“The Hunt”) and went on to serve as president of the Haijin Kyōkai from 2002. Widely regarded as one of the leading figures of contemporary haiku, his collected works were published in Takaha Shugyō Haiku Shūsei in 2017.
