Mark Miller is an award-winning poet and photographer who has published four books of poetry, the latest being Light and Counterlight, a selection of his best haiku from over 350 that have been published in international journals and anthologies. Among his awards are an International Sakura Award in the Vancouver Cherry Blossom Festival Haiku Invitational 2013 and 2021, first place in the Blue Giraffe Press Second Haiku Competition 2014 and first prize in the FAWQ Haiku Competition 2016. His previous three books are Conversing with Stones (Five Islands Press, 1989), This Winter Beach (Seaview Press, 1999), and Scanning the Horizon (Ginninderra Press, 2018). Published by Ginninderra Press in 2020, Light and Counterlight is his first book of haiku. Mark lives in Shoalhaven Heads, Australia.
