Rain-soaked wind
the weather-worn notice

I'm very happy to post another haiku by Alan Summers, author of the haiku we used for our 270th competition last month. Alan is an award-winning poet and President of the United Haiku and Tanka Society. If you have 5 minutes, watch his TEDx Talk on Youtube "Amazement of the ordinary- life through a haiku lens".
This haiku was selected for a street installation currently on display in Washington DC, created on the occasion of the 6th annual Golden Haiku Competition.
