Verdant town of trees
poised upon the rivers edge
waiting for one day
We continue our collaboration with the Western Riverina Arts with a poem by Susan Carey Killham. The music submitted to this challenge may be included in an exhibition at the Narrandera’s Arts and Community Centre in October.
Susan is Manager of Community Development and Library in Narrandera Shire. She is also the current Chair of Western Riverina Arts.
Originally a city girl before moving to the Riverina, she firmly believes the arts should be accessible to everyone and that people living in regional areas should not be disadvantaged by distance or lack of opportunity. Sue is passionate about the positive difference that the arts can make in communities.
