With this final haiku of the year we commemorate Jane Reichhold, an important figure in haiku poetry who passed away in 2016. Jane was a famous haiku writer and founder of Aha! Poetry, probably one of the best online sources for traditional Japanese poetry, where you can find poems, tutorials and free ebooks about many short form genres of poetry.
