The poem of the week was written by Geoffrey Wilson, author of 100 Mississippi Delta Blues Haiku, a collection of haiku that explore the similarity of life in the Mississippi Delta, even the Blues, and everything Southern, to the agrarian life which spawned Japanese haiku.
