Naviar Records: Iki Island

After a month in Itoshima, I moved to Iki Island for an art residency offered by iki base, an organization focused on bringing arts and culture to the island.

While here, between 29th January and 4th February, I continued the sonic research I started at Studio Kura, but I also finally found the peace of mind to compose and define my performances for my upcoming events in Kobe and Tokyo this month.

The long walks and the isolation typical of tourist areas during the low season proved to be a great source of inspiration after the exciting, hectic days of my first month in Japan.

I’m planning to present my work and discuss the recent 10th anniversary of Naviar Records, at a virtual meeting on Naviar’s Discord group, on Sunday, 4th February
