European experimental label Naviar Records is proud to present its first concert in Kyoto, hosted at the iconic livehouse nano. For this special occasion, we’ve curated an evening of performances that span immersive ambient, avant-garde soundscapes, and the outer reaches of instrumental experimentation.

ヨーロッパを拠点に、実験的なサウンドで新たな表現を探求する我々 Naviar Records は、このたび、京都を代表するライブハウス「nano」にて、初の京都公演を開催いたします。
深い没入感をもたらすアンビエント、前衛的な音の風景、そして楽器表現の限界を押し広げる実験的なパフォーマンスをお届けするべく、この特別な一夜のために国内外から出演者を迎えました。

Tumo
Experimental music unit formed by Yuma Takeshita and Yuji Ishihara.
Takeshita uses instruments with built-in mechanical elements and multi-axis rotating speakers named "Mechanized Instruments" of his own making, while Ishihara uses drums and percussion, as well as effective sounds.
The sound fusion of asynchronous and unpredictable electronic noise with acoustic and delicate percussion and scraping sounds, as well as the addition of spatial effects, creates an experimental and original soundscape.
Tumoは竹下勇馬と石原雄治によって結成された実験音楽ユニットである。
竹下は、自ら開発した機械的要素を備えた楽器と多軸回転スピーカーを用いた「機械化楽器」を使用し、石原はドラムやパーカッションに加え、エフェクティブな音響を操る。
非同期かつ予測不可能な電子ノイズと、アコースティックで繊細な打音や擦過音が交錯し、さらに空間的なエフェクトが加わることで、実験的かつ独自性の高い音響風景を創出する。

Encym/cryxuss
The Ambient/Electronic transmission channel of Munich-based guitarist and producer Roland Reinke, Encym explores un-guitaristic territory by layering, collaging, and shaping improvised loops. Fused with polyrhythmic beats and noises to become cinematic, atmospheric, otherworldly ambiances, their grittiness owing to the many years Roland was based in London. He has released numerous albums both as a solo artist and collaborator, most recently the “Music for Meditation” CD on Neotantra.
Cryxuss, aka Marco Sebastiano Alessi, is an Italian music producer and founder of Naviar Records.
Encym / cryxuss Encym は、ミュンヘンを拠点とするギタリスト／プロデューサー、Roland Reinke によるアンビエント／エレクトロニックの発信プロジェクトである。 ギターという枠を越えた音の領域を探求し、即興的に重ねられたループをレイヤー化・コラージュ・変形させることで独自の音世界を構築する。 そのサウンドはポリリズミックなビートやノイズと融合し、シネマティックで空間的、そしてどこか異世界的なアンビエンスへと変容する。 そのざらついた質感には、Roland が長年拠点としていたロンドンの影響が色濃く表れている。 ソロアーティストとして、また様々なコラボレーションにおいて多数のアルバムをリリースしており、近年では Neotantra より CD『Music for Meditation』を発表している。
cryxuss は、Marco Sebastiano Alessi の別名義であり、イタリア出身の音楽プロデューサー、 Naviar Records の創設者である。
Rentaro
Rentaro is an electronic music artist born in Kyoto in 1991. Deeply influenced by the UK sound scene of the 1990s, he creates a unique sonic world that blends IDM, breakbeats, noise, and ambient music.
Known for his intricate beat programming and experimental sound design, Rentaro’s work fuses avant-garde electronic textures and has gained attention in experimental music circles both in Japan and abroad. Drawing inspiration from the contrast between Kyoto’s natural landscapes and urban life, his music delicately balances meditative stillness with complex rhythmic patterns, guiding listeners into an immersive and otherworldly sonic experience.
1991年京都生まれの電子音楽アーティスト。90年代UKのサウンドシーンから強い影響を受け、IDM、ブレイクビーツ、ノイズ、アンビエントを融合した独自の音響世界を構築している。
繊細なビートプログラミングと実験的なサウンドデザインを特徴とし先鋭的な電子音響を融合させた作品で、国内外の実験音楽シーンで注目を集めている。京都の自然と都市の二面性からインスピレーションを得た彼の音楽は、瞑想的な静寂と複雑なリズムパターンが絶妙に調和し、聴く者を未知の音響体験へと誘う。
