The album’s title comes from the Greek goddess of the moon, who fell in love with the eternally sleeping Endymion. Selene is a sonic analysis of all things nocturnal: the boundaries of the sleep cycle, sleep deprivation and paralysis, the moon, and the impact that night has on the way we feel and create. The result is an intimate, haunting concept album that studies the mysterious realm of our personality.
