Naviarhaiku187 – Flood waters recede

We continue our collaboration with curator Jason Richardson and the Western Riverina Arts with a poem by Julie Briggs.

Julie Briggs is a development worker, writer, and a sometimes maker. Narrandera captured her some time ago, and she has loved being part of a country community, and most recently part of a growing arts network in and around the town.

Attributes of Narrandera that Julie most connects with are the waterholes, the wetlands, the lake, and the Murrumbidgee River and its protectors, the River Red Gum forests.

Seven days to make music inspired by Julie’s haiku: to participate visit https://www.naviarrecords.com/about/naviar-haiku
