Momentary halt
a brief but violent silence
quieting the mind
The beauty of haiku poetry is that it’s open to interpretation. I don’t know why, but as soon as I read this poem by my-crazy-random-happenstance I thought about a vinyl player; I imagined myself absorbed in thought while listening to an album, and suddenly coming back to reality once the record is over, with its mechanic and repetitive sounds bridging the gap between music and real life.
