Naviar Records is proud to begin its four-week journey across Japan with an intimate performance at Knock Koenji. For this special occasion, we're honored to present a lineup of artists (both members and friends of Naviar) based in Japan and working in the fields of ambient and electronic music.

ヨーロッパを拠点に、俳句の美学とアンビエント及び実験的なサウンドアートが重なり合う、新たな表現を探求する我々Naviar Recordsは、Knock Koenjiでのギグを皮切りに、日本各地を巡る4週間の旅へと漕ぎ出します。
最初の公演となるこの特別な夜には、Naviar Recordsと志を共にする世界各国の演奏家とその仲間たちが集い、幾重にも重なり消えていく音の波と、瞑想的な持続音が紡ぐ音の風景による、内なる世界を辿る深い没入体験をお届けします。

Chihei Hatakeyama
Chihei Hatakeyama is an internationally acclaimed sound artist. His first album, Minima Moralia, was released in early 2006 by the Chicago-based label kranky. Since then, he has released many albums with labels like Room 40, Under The Spire, Hibernate Records, Magic Book Records, Home Normal, OwnRecords, Spekk, Dronarivm, Constellation Tatsu, Glacial Movements Records, and his own label, White Paddy Mountain. In 2013, Hatakeyama started his own record label, White Paddy Mountain, which has since released over 40 recordings by talented musicians, including modern ambient, shoegaze, and folk artists in Japan.
Chihei Hatakeyamaは、国際的に高い評価を受けるサウンドアーティストである。
2006年初頭、シカゴを拠点とするレーベル「kranky」より、ファースト・アルバム『Minima Moralia』をリリース。以降、自身のレーベルWhite Paddy Mountainをはじめ、Room40、Under The Spire、Hibernate Records、Magic Book Records、Home Normal、OwnRecords、Spekk、Dronarivm、Constellation Tatsu、Glacial Movements Recordsなど、多数のレーベルから作品を発表してきた。
2013年には、自身のレーベルWhite Paddy Mountainを設立。以降、日本のアンビエント、シューゲイザー、フォーク系アーティストを中心に、40作以上の作品をリリースしている。
theAdelaidean
Sean Williams is an Australian composer and #1 New York Times bestselling author. On his albums for Projekt Records he has collaborated with Steve Roach, Sam Rosenthal and Deepspace under the name “theAdelaidean”, as well as created music independently and under his real name for exhibitions, film scores, and the stage. Recent years saw world premieres of the multi-artform dance work Bárbaros, the independent films Life Savings and Lucid Dreaming, for which he wrote the scores, and The Magnetic Quiet Zone, an audiovisual installation created with Philip Samartzis and Martin Walch. Sean normally lives on Kaurna lands, South Australia, and works at Flinders University, but is on sabbatical in Tokyo for six months.
Sean Williamsは、オーストラリア出身の作曲家であり、ニューヨーク・タイムズ紙のベストセラーランキングで1位を獲得した作家でもある。
Projekt Recordsからリリースされた数枚のアルバムにおいて、“theAdelaidean” 名義でSteve Roach、Sam Rosenthal、Deepspaceとコラボレーションを行ってきたほか、本名名義でも展覧会、映画音楽、舞台作品などのために幅広く作曲を手がけている。
近年では、複数の芸術ジャンルを融合させたダンス作品『Bárbaros』、映画『Life Savings』『Lucid Dreaming』の初演が行われ、いずれも音楽を担当。また、Philip SamartzisおよびMartin Walchと共に手がけた映像インスタレーション『The Magnetic Quiet Zone』も発表している。
現在は南オーストラリアのカウナ族の土地に居住し、フリンダース大学に勤務しているが、現在は東京にて半年間の研究休暇中である。
Nukumori Eugene
Hong Kong – Omiya, Japan based sound artist Nukumori Eugene has been making and releasing music since 2021. He is the founder of the small boutique label “Living Room Tapes” and Field Recording Club, Saitama (Art and Sound Community). The project often highlights the sounds and arts placed between the nature and city's folklore - deconstructive city street culture and urban suburbia
ヌクモリユージンは、香港と日本の大宮を拠点に活動するサウンドアーティストである。
2021年より音楽制作およびリリースを開始。小さなブティックレーベル「Living Room Tapes」と、埼玉フィールドレコーディングクラブ（アートとサウンドのコミュニティ）を主宰している。
彼の音楽は、都市と自然の民間伝承のあいだに存在する音とアートに焦点を当てており、「都市と郊外、自然のエッジ」「脱構築された都市や自然のイメージ」等をテーマとしている。また、このプロジェクトは都市観察やストリート・リサーチの要素を含み、特定の都市における文化的フィールドワークに基づいて展開されている。
